2017 Audi A4

Whereas BMW can claim to be king in the saloon stakes of the premium brand market, Audi still very much rules the roost when it comes to estate versions. The A4 Avant looks meaner and more aggressive than its saloon sibling and well suited to the S-line trim. The interior is beautifully put together and top-rate in terms of quality with air conditioning, cruise control and DAB radio all standard. The all-important boot space is a class leading 505 litres, rising to 1500 litres when the back seats are folded down and you will be glad to know that every A4 comes as standard with a power tailgate, ideal for keeping your valuables safe. In terms of comfort and refinement, both petrol and diesel examples are top class, with the petrol edging it for us in terms of outright drivability. Overall, there is a lot to like about the A4 Avant, as an overall package it is difficult to fault.
