This generation of A6 is a strong and stylish car with a great range of engines and represents a real value for money buy in todays market. It offers levels of space, comfort and refinement that would be hard to beat by any other car in its price range. In terms of styling it has certainly stood the test of time and it is difficult to believe that this design has been with us for almost a decade now. In practical terms it is as strong as you would expect with massive boot space, bolstered by easily foldable rear seats which are as standard across the range (not as common in this class as you'd think!). It seats four adults comfortably and child seats are easily fitted thanks to the ISO fix points as standard. It is similarly strong in terms of interior styling and quality and there is an exhaustive list of standard equipment which includes Xenon headlights, parking sensors and sat nav. Pick of the engines is the 2 litre 190hp diesel variant which found particular favour with Irish buyers thanks to its nippy performance and frugal economy.
