Ford Focus 2011 - 2018
Summary
The Ford Focus is as ubiquitous on Irish roads as potholes and there are good reasons behind its popularity. Firstly, it is spacious, with plenty of room inside for both driver and passengers. It is also extremely comfortable with a great driving position and lots of storage spaces and cubby-holes for all your belongings. However, the real trump card of the Focus is in how it drives. The steering is beautifully weighted and extremely responsive, especially when mated to the uber-economical 2.0 litre TDCi diesel engine which delivers a fine mix of torquey performance and economy. For the petrol heads among you there are also a range of high performance models in the guise of ST and RS.
Pros
- Spacious and swish interior
- Plenty of handy cubby-holes and storage spaces
- Great choice of engines
- ISOfix anchors for child seats
- Driving dynamics ahead of rivals
Cons
- Not that easy to turn on full-lock
