Ford Mondeo 2014 - Present
Summary
The Mondeo is now a stalwart of the Irish family car scene and it's easy to see why. Ford simply offers prospective owners excellent value for money and a class leading driving experience. While some cars get more tawt and nimble as they evolve, with the Mondeo, bigger and smarter is definitely the shape of things to come. The exterior styling is smart and conservative and certainly appealed to Irish buyers in the family car market as well as the usual fleet customers. The appealing exterior was bolstered by a plethora of nice extras such as chrome trim and power-folding door mirrors. The interior comes with an eight-inch touchscreen display and digital dials that propel the car well into the twenty-first century. Both front seats are comfortable and supportive and there is great visibility all round. The driving experience is more 'grown up' than previous generations of Mondeo but it continues the overall tradition of soaking up the worst Irish roads can throw at it to give owners a relaxing, stress-free drive - exactly as a Mondeo should be.
