Ford Tourneo Connect 2013 - Present
Summary
The Ford Tourneo Connect is based on the Transit and it is easy to see the resemblance when you look at the boot space - it's massive! It also has a low load height and no lip to have to carry your luggage over so is uber practical. You can also remove the seats to make the room in the boot veritable cavernous. The sliding doors make rear access a doddle and there is plenty of head and legroom for occupants. Our choice of engine is probably the surprisingly nippy and economical 1.3 turbo petrol although the 1.6 litre diesel is capable of returning over 60 miles per gallon. For a vehicle with such an upright stance on the road it handles surprisingly well and is not at all unpleasant to drive with the raised driving position making for great visibility. Importantly for such a car, there is a good level of safety kit at standard including six airbags and electronic anti-skid control.
