More Information
Hyundai i20 2014 - Present
Summary
Hyundai were careful with the i20 not to deviate too much from a winning formula, retaining its youthful boxy shape. This is a small car that is big on the inside with a reasonably sized boot that is easily expandable with the split folding rear seats. There is a decent level of knee and head room in both the front and the rear and an easily adjustable driving position. The i20 is extremely well equipped with air conditioning, USB connectivity, six airbags and ESP anti-skid control. The engine line up even includes a 1.1 litre diesel engine which is capable of an incredible 88 miles per gallon! However, we would still go with the 1.2 litre petrol variant which provides plenty of poke for a small amount of juice. While this car may not be as refined as a Mercedes-Benz it is still capable on the motorway and a good whizz on the twisty-bits. A good all-rounder.
