With the latest incarnation of the XF, Jaguar did not wish to mess about too much with a winning formula. There is now more space in the rear with plenty of knee and headroom for back seat passengers. Where the Jaguar really excels is in terms of interior design as the wraparound dash envelopes you with flush fittings and high-quality soft-touch plastics. Being a Jaguar, it comes with plenty of standard equipment with even the entry level models getting heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control and six airbags. It drives even better than before with the lightness of the aluminium body contributing towards the lightness of the driving experience. The pick of the engines is probably the 2.0 litre diesel variant which offers a fine mix of performance, pedigree and frugality at over 60 miles per gallon.
