More Information
Kia Stonic 2017 - Present
Summary
Based on the Kia Rio, the Stonic offers more space and ride height than a supermini. This has some obvious benefits, in terms of boot space for example. At 352 litres while not exactly cavernous there is plenty of space and this thread continues in the rear where there is plenty of head and leg room. The dash layout is typical Kia in that it is smart, stylish and minimalistic in its design. There is a decent level of standard equipment that includes a seven-inch touchscreen display that includes Bluetooth connectivity, privacy glass and cruise control. There is a great choice of petrol and diesel engines that provide a fine mix of punchy performance and frugal economy. The driving experience is enjoyable and refined thanks to the excellent suspension set up and generally excellent build quality.
Pros
- Plenty of cubby-holes and cup-holders
- Good level of standard equipment
- Low starting price
- Handy ISOfix points for child seats
- Kia's renowned seven-year warranty
