Mercedes-Benz E Class 2017 - Present
Summary
The E Class is Mercedes best selling model and has transformed greatly over the nearly three decades since its introduction, becoming one of the best-looking cars in its class. That level of excellence is extended to the cabin where the occupants are cossetted by luxury and high-quality materials all round. There is a great driving position thanks to the electrically adjustable seats which are standard across the range. Also as standard are keyless-go, automatic climate control and no less than 64 different colours of ambient lighting. There is plenty of space on board with ample head and leg room and numerous storage areas. There is plenty of room in the boot too (540 litres to be exact) and a minimal load lip so loading bulky items is relatively straightforward. Most Irish buyers plumped for the E220d 194bhp 2 litre, 4-cylinder diesel which combines performance and economy to an exceptional degree. When paired with the nine-speed automatic diesel the driving experience is surprisingly enjoyable with a quiet and refined drive.
