Nissan Juke 2019 - Present
Summary
This is the latest edition of the car that originally sparked the small SUV craze. It certainly looks more grown up than the previous generation, with the styling less bulbous and more sedate, which will please some. The muscular wheel arches and sloping roofline give it more presence than before while the hidden rear door handles almost make it look like a coupe. Avoid the entry level model (unless you like steel wheels) and you will get seventeen-inch alloy wheels and an 8-inch colour display as standard. All versions of the Juke come with plenty of safety kit as standard including auto emergency braking and auto headlights as standard. It is longer, wider and taller than the car it replaces and you can see the difference, especially inside where is ample room for driver and passengers alike. With 420 litres of space there is an increase of twenty percent on the boot space available in the previous generation. There is also more soft-touch plastics than before, giving it a more upmarket feel. At present it is only available in a 1 litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine which offers a fine blend of performance and economy, although expect a hybrid model to be added to the range soon.
