More Information
Nissan Leaf 2011 - 2018
Summary
The Nissan Leaf was the worlds first mass produced electric vehicle and has sold over 400,000 units worldwide. Although it uses the latest cutting edge EV technology, it is every bit as practical as VW Golf. For example, the boot is much larger than in other electric cars and you can even turn your Leaf into a load-lugger by folding down the split rear seats. There is a decent amount in space on board too, particularly in the rear where three adults can be seated comfortably. There is only one model available and it comes extremely well equipped with auto headlights, auto windscreen wipers and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard. Although it only has 109 horse power it is surprisingly nippy and ideal for inter-town commuting. The supple suspension glides over bumps, making for an extremely enjoyable drive. Nissan claims a 109 mile range and a full charge can take up to twelve hours.
