It is nearly thirty years since the Combo first appeared on our roads and it still attracts a decent following. It comes in two guises; standard and XL, it also has a crew-cab version that can take up to five passengers. Maximum load length is 1817mm in standard and 2167mm in XL while the width between the wheel arches is 1229mm. It comes with either a 1.5 CDTI diesel or 1.2 litre petrol puretech engine with most Irish buyers opting for the diesel variant thanks to its smooth torque delivery and reliability record. It has a smart, well-assembled cabin that is particularly spacious given its size and extremely practical with a total of fifteen storage compartments. Standard equipment is decent with fully adjustable drivers seats, one-touch electric windows and electric heated mirrors as standard. Practical, comfortable and highly regarded.
