Opel Grandland X 2018 - Present
Summary
The Grandland X is a full-size SUV, pitted against some pretty tough competition. With 540 litres of space, the boot is not the biggest in its class but is a highly capable load-lugger and is very practical. There is a decent amount of space in the rear and enough room to fit three adults which is not something you can say about every car in this class. Front seat passengers are equally well catered for with multiple levels of adjustment for the driver. The eight-inch colour touchscreen 'intellilink' infotainment system is one of the better units you will find on the Irish market at the moment and it fits in well with the rest of the highly functional cabin. You have a choice between 1.6 litre diesel and 1.2 litre petrol engine variants with both offering a fine blend of performance and economy. Overall an SUV that is good to look at and extremely comfortable.
