Opel's Vivaro is a worthy alternative in the Transit-sized class of van and is one of the best-selling vans on the market. Power comes from a choice of two Euro6 compliant engines with either a 1.5 litre or 2.0 litre turbo charged engine with the latter variant being more refined and punchy. It's a step up in lugging ability too as it is capable of taking 2.5 litres with a standard-length van or 2.85 litres with the long wheelbase model. The cabin is quite car-like in its composition and standard equipment includes Bluetooth, DAB radio, air conditioning and cruise control. There were a wide range of options available to prospective buyers with top-end models offering payloads of up to 1.2 tonnes. Servicing is every 18,000 miles or two years (whichever is sooner) and all vans came with a three year / 100,000-mile warranty.
