2018 (182) Renault Kadjar

The Kadjar was built on the same platform as Nissans Quashqai so was already off to a good start. The styling is all Renault though and this cars impressive physique has turned plenty of heads. There is a decent level of standard equipment that includes air conditioning, cruise control, LED running lights and Bluetooth connectivity. The interior could best be described as 'edgy' and it certainly grabs your attention while also being uber practical. The boot is a decent size with 472 litres of space which can be further expanded by folding the split rear seats. It is extremely comfortable on the road and has a great driving position thanks to the multiple levels of adjustment in the drivers seat and steering wheel. There is a good range of petrol and diesel engines with Irish drivers finding particular favour with the frugal 1.5 DCI diesel.
