The Scenic began life as the Megane Scenic back in 1996, such was its success that eventually Renault launched the Scenic as a car in its own right and it has since become a popular choice with Irish families. Its greatest strength is its practicality as it is an extremely spacious car in terms of head and leg room, especially in the rear where the reclining/sliding seats provide ample space. The cabin is spacious, airy and there is a great driving position thanks to the multiple levels of adjustment in the drivers seat and steering wheel. There is a decent level of standard equipment that includes air conditioning, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity. There are 437 litres of space in the veritably gargantuan boot and it can be further expanded by folding the split rear seats. There are a plethora of engine variations with the diesels finding particular favour with Irish buyers thanks to their fine mix of performance and economy.
