Seat Ateca 2016 - Present
Summary
The Ateca shares its underpinnings with the VW Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq and manages to stand apart by being the best looking and the least expensive option of the three models. It compares well in terms of practicality too with 510 litres of space in the rear that can be further expanded by folding the split rear seats. Room in the rear is quite good with enough space to accommodate three adults and it's the same story in the front where there is a great driving position thanks to the multiple levels of adjustment in the drivers seat and steering wheel. The spec level is generous too with alloy wheels, air conditioning, LED daytime running lights and a touchscreen multimedia system as standard. There is a good range of engines that includes a 1.4 litre TSI and 1 litre TSI petrol and a 1.6 and 2 litre diesel. Something of a hidden gem in the SUV market segment.
