Skoda Kodiaq 2017 - 2021
Summary
If you are in the market for a seven-seater SUV then this will definitely be on your radar. Space has always been a Skoda trademark so it comes as no surprise to learn that the Kodiaq is massive inside and is available in five or seven-seater format. There is a generous amount of head and leg room in the rear and 270 litres of space in the boot, rising to 600 litres with the rear seats folded down or a gargantuan 2000 litres with both rows of rears seats out of the way. There is a decent level of standard equipment that includes air conditioning, cruise control and a touchscreen display with Apple car play and Andriod Auto. The 2.0 litre 4x4 diesel model found particular favour with Irish buyers and its easy to see why as the four-wheel-drive system is well suited to a car of this size. There is also 1.4 litre petrol option that still offers good fuel economy for a lower premium price.
Pros
- Plenty of storage spaces, cubby-holes and USB ports
- Handles well for a car its size
- ISOfix points for child seats
- Typical Skoda practicality and reliability
- 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating
Cons
- Parking sensors a bit too sensitive
