Summary
The Arteon is the newest and most luxurious model in VW's line-up. The Arteon is a 'fastback' in the vein of the Audi A5 or BMW 4-series but it still manages to be practical enough to live with every day. With 560 litres of space and a hatchback entry you can fit just about anything in the back of the Arteon, which is not something you can say about many sports coupes. There is plenty of head and leg room in the rear and it's not bad in the front either. The interior in general is of an extremely high quality and not dissimilar from the Passat which is no bad thing. The infotainment system is user-friendly and comes as standard on all models along with 18-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers. It comes with three different power outputs of the well-regarded 2.0 TDI diesel engine, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
