In the past you may have thought of Volvo estates to be comfortable cruisers, cars you bought with your head but not your heart. However, in recent years Volvo have unleashed their hitherto undiscovered creative side to provide us with some of the most eye-catching designs on the market. Being a Volvo, it still does the basics right. For example, you get a nice big boot (529 litres to be exact) with an electrically operated tailgate. There is plenty of room on board for occupants especially in the rear where there is ample knee and headroom. There is a great driving position thanks to the multiple levels of adjustment in the drivers seat and steering wheel. The infotainment system comes as part of a nine-inch tablet style touchscreen and is extremely user-friendly. There are two 2.0 litre diesel engines to choose from, a 148bhp D3 and a 187bhp D4 variant as well as a 247bhp T5 petrol.
Plenty of storage spaces, cubby-holes and USB ports
