The anticipatory operating-mode strategy ensures as efficient energy use as possible: with the 3 drive programs "E+", "E" and "C" as well as the 5 recuperation stages "D–", "D", "D+", "D++" and "DAUTO", you can optimise the energy consumption and thus also the vehicle's range. As part of recuperation energy is recovered during vehicle deceleration. Recuperation stage "DAUTO" helps you to make the best use of the battery charge.
